While other teenage girls were pulling their mothers off to the mall to shop for the trendiest fashions, Elizabeth Bloom was dragging her mother, Linda Wood, to every craft and home accessory show she could find. Her passion paid off – she now enjoys a very successful career as the owner of Home Grown, the sophisticated home furnishings store located on the Main Line of Philadelphia.
Home Grown opened in 1996 in a small space in Manayunk, PA. After almost 6 successful years, they chose to expand into their current 3000 square foot digs where they have resided since 2001. They carry products which people aspire to own , such as hand-blown glass, turned wood bowls and boards and many other items which are all intended to use, love and enjoy for years to come.
Home Grown prides itself on its wonderful, unique collection of dinnerware, glassware and flatware which makes it a full service shop where only the most discriminating brides find their niche. After all of these years, both mother and daughter can fill all of their entertaining needs, in style and sophistication.
